Description

This is an Eclipse Aluminum Enclosed Trailer. A Unique, High Quality, bumper pull, solid built Trailer. The frame is grid welded 2×6 steel tubing, then is hot dipped galvanized. The entire body, from the frame up, is aluminum. Then equipped with 2 x 3500 lb. torsion axles, that have brakes on all four wheels. 225/75/15 Load range D (2540 lb.) tires, mounted on very nice aluminum rims. Classed as a 7×14. Actually measure 6 ft. 6 in. inside width and 11 ft. in length before the V-nose tapering begins. Furnished with a two door cabinet in the front nose. This is where the spare wheel and break-away kit are located. The spare is unused, as-new, on a matching aluminum rim. The Break-away kit is a Curt, push-to-test, with a new battery. The new 7-pin plug is molded, not the screw clamp type. There are four ceiling lights with a wall switch. The floor is covered with a rubber mat. Three 6 ft. E-Track strips are bolted to the floor, to secure the load.
I am the second owner. The first owner ordered this trailer to haul two Harley-Davidson motorcycles. I have used it for more than motorcycles. It has insulated walls and ceiling. It is even great to put a bed in it and go camping.
The two sliding windows easily lock closed or slide open. They are protected with aluminum grid bar guards.
The rear ramp door is spring assisted, and is easily handled when opening or closing. The front door is hinged to swing towards the front. It is key locked from the outside, with a latch on the inside.
Eclipse earned their reputation as a Livestock Trailer manufacturer. Their trailer designs are highly appreciated, with Equestrians and others, who look for durable, strong built trailers.
The inside walls have some marks and there is a small dent outside, on one of the front panels, that cannot be seen in the photographs.
This is a 2011 model.
The tires on it are 70%.
The Tail/Signal and clearance lights are all LED.
