Description

New pull behind trailer. Aluminum Diamond Plate. Empty weight : 90 pounds. One inch narrower than a touring Harley, if your bike makes it through you don’t have to worry about the trailer snagging you up. 3.00 x 16″ tires (trail bike tires). Uses a 3/4 inch Heim joint hitch, which is stronger and lighter than the conventional 1 1/2 inch ball setup. Any trailer hitch will work with my supplied 3/4″ pin which replaces the ball. Generally the center of the ball (my pin) height will be the same as the center line of the rear axle.Gas struts to hold lid open. Pull up hand grip to aid in pulling a fully loaded trailer to your camping spot or right into your hotel room; when it’s pouring rain out. Red LED lighting, brake and turn signals are separate like the Harley’s and all 4 light up when the brakes are applied. The draw bar can easily be shortened but optimal trailer geometry would call out for a slightly longer one. People often ask “What’s it like to pull a trailer?” I have always felt that the trailer helps stabilize the bike at highway speeds (85 mph), much like the tail on a kite. Other people have questioned whether suspension is necessary; I’ve been pulling trailers for almost twenty years and have never had suspension on my trailers. The bouncing can be minimized through tire inflation, I run around 16 p.s.i. in the tires. Many people (myself included) still ride hardtails with no rear suspension. Cargo box size is 54″ long, 26.5″ wide, and 20″ tall.

Closeout; $1500, which is less than the actual cost of the components and materials. I was going into production with these trailers but can’t (or won’t) compete against the Chinese units. A very good looking trailer.
