Small cargo trailer for motorcycle/small car – $950 (Indianapolis)

Made by America’s Best Trailer, 2010 model. Great condition, small bits of surface rust here and there, mostly on bolt heads, all of it cosmetic. This trailer was only taken on two trips in 2011 and was stored in a barn afterwards due to a motorcycle mishap (not involving the trailer). We toyed with the idea of putting a hitch on our Miata for this but have decided to go another route.

The diamond plate box measures roughly 5′ x 2.3′ x 1.5′ and is fully lined with carpet. It has an integrated luggage rack and will carry more than you would ever want to take on a motorcycle trip. We packed all our clothes for a two week trip along with a full sized cooler, spare tire, tools, and camping gear with room to spare.

Torsion bar suspension, independent on both wheels. It has spiffy aluminum rims and the tires look almost new with no dry rot. Includes a matching spare. It pulled flawlessly behind my Gold Wing and it was easy to forget it was there on the interstate.

The only real negatives are the minor rust spots on fittings. I have an extra box that was mounted on the tongue – it was removed when the welds securing it to a bracket started cracking and I never got around to remounting it. Compared to the price of a new one this is a steal, so the price is firm. No lowball offers please.
